Garcinia Cambogia is native to Asia, America, Australia, tropical and South Africa, and Polynesia. The number of species in this genus is highly debated, with various sources acknowledging anywhere from 50 to 300 species. This genus is often referred to as the soap tree, mangosteen, vine, or the vaguely named “monkey fruit.”
How does it work?
Garcinia Cambogia is extracted from the Malabar Tamarind tree, which is native to Asia and Africa. It has many different health benefits, but the most interesting one is its ability to do so. This is great for dieters because they eat less but continue to provide the body with enough energy, helping the body break down all the fat cells. It also blocks citrate lyase, an enzyme that converts carbohydrates into fat and sugar. So now any fat consumed does not enter the cells, but instead diffuses out as excess waste.
